Cold Sores
I am unfortunately cursed with cold sores from time to time. I have used all kinds of essential oils recommended by others, but didn’t really find one that really worked. So after doing some experimenting when I would get a cold sore, I found a couple oils that work VERY well.
Frankincense applied neat to the cold sore can be very effective. The trick is catching it as soon as you feel the first twinge. Keep applying it often and in my experience the cold sore will cease to grow and will not “blossom” into an open sore. Again the trick is to catch it at the very beginning and apply it often. I carry a small 5/8 dram vial of Frankincense when I get one around with me so I can apply it as often as I need to. Frankincense usually does the job for me.
Recently, however, I had a very nasty cold sore come on. After muscle testing (using Kinesiology) I tested that I needed some different oils. I was surprised at which ones came up, but I tried them, and they worked very well. Coriander essential oil stops the burning and itching, and growth of the virus. Marjoram made the swelling lip go right down. And French Lavender Fine also is very anti viral and helps the sore heal quickly. I am always pleased and amazed at what the oils can do.
Be sure you always use the highest quality essential oils. Click here to get the very best for yourself.
Cheers!
