Peppermint
Did you know that Peppermint grown in the USA is not very high in menthol?
In fact, Peppermint produced in the USA does not contain enough menthol to be medicinal grade.
Did you know menthol is the ingredient in Peppermint that relieves pain?
Have you ever used Peppermint for pain and been disappointed? Not any more!
Now ForeverGreen’s TRUessence has Essential Oil of Peppermint that comes from France where the menthol levels are naturally much higher. (Remember, we never add synthetic or chemical ingredients to “boost” oils.) That means that you will have increased pain relief when using our medicinal grade Peppermint.
Peppermint is one of those “universal” essential oils that can be used for Oh, so many things!
- It is stimulating for your body. Use for a quick pick-me-up or when you need to stay alert. But remember, don’t put it around your eye area, it really stings for a minute if it gets in your eye!
- Peppermint has a particular capacity to oxygenate the blood. This makes it extremely effective for headaches, stress, and depression.
- Use Peppermint around temples and back of neck for instant headache relief. You can follow it with lavender for a complete headache treatment — works great!
- It is also one of the main ingredients in the liver cleanse.
- You can use this Peppermint neat for great pain relief on joint pain. Or you can use it in this blend: Mix 8 drops Peppermint, 6 drops Oregano, and 4 drops Lavender, mixed into 1 Tablespoon of Carrier oil. Apply on joint pain.
Please be Aware: Because this Peppermint has such a high menthol content it is not recommended for children 30 months old or younger.
The menthol in it may cause problems for these young ones.
